Mobile hotspots (a.k.a. portable hotspot or pocket WiFi routers) are battery-powered portable WiFi stations that provide wireless internet access on many WiFi-enabled devices, such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, e-readers, portable gaming devices, etc.
Mobile hotspots typically use mobile broadband service from cellular providers for 3G or 4G LTE internet access.

Go to Keepgo.com/activate and enter your Product ID and your email address.

The password for your mobile WiFi hotspot is also known as a WiFi Key.

If your password is not printed on a sticker on the front of the hotspot then please use the default WiFi Key which you can find on the inside cover of the hotspot or underneath the battery.

If you have a sticker on the hotspot with the SSID and password use the password printed on the hotspot.

If you have a black hotspot with a display you can navigate to the second screen where you can get the WiFi Key.

The Keepgo hotspot comes with a Keepgo SIM card inside that has been configured to work right out of the box. In the event that this information gets changed and you need to reconfigure the hotspot so it will work again with the Keepgo SIM card follow the instructions below:

• Connect to the mobile hotspot WiFi using your Wi-Fi-enabled device (phone, tablet, computer)
• Launch an Internet browser and enter 192.168.8.1 in the address bar in your browser (skip directly to the website if prompted to download the Hi-Link app by the link at the bottom of the page)
• Click on Settings and input the User name "admin" and password "keepgo2018" (all small letters) when prompted. If it doesn’t work then try "admin" for both the User name and password.
• From the left-hand side menu Click on Dial-up > Mobile Connection and make sure that Data Roaming is enabled and Mobile data is On.
• Click Profile Management and click on New Profile as follows:

  3. Password:
  4. APN: internet.keepgo.com

• You Mobile WiFi Hotspot will connect. Click on Home and confirm that it is “Connected” and the button with the two arrows pointing up and down is green:

For white hotspots purchased in 2018 or after, the password is: keepgo2018

For white hotspots purchased before 2018, the password is the default password: admin

For the black hotspots the password is the default password available underneath the battery.

You connect to Mobile Hotspot the same way you would connect to any WiFi network:

• Open your WiFi settings and scan for available networks. Your Mobile Hotspot name (SSID) will appear on the list.
• In the list of available WiFi networks, select the name of the Mobile Hotspot.
• If prompted, enter the Mobile Hotspot WiFi Key.
• Tap "join" or "connect".
• Congratulations! You've successfully connected a device to your mobile hotspot.

If your phone is locked with your carrier or if you need to share your internet connection between several devices, you can easily do it by creating your own private WiFi network and save yourself a lot of time hunting for a free public WiFi hotspots.

The hotspot can be tested only in the countries covered by Keepgo.

Please note that in each country we partner with one or two local cellular networks. You might experience connectivity difficulties where there is no cellular coverage of our partner carrier.
